Qibla Direction Finder
Find the exact compass bearing toward the Kaaba in Makkah from any location on Earth. Essential for prayer wherever you are.
What is the Qibla?
The Qibla (قِبْلَة) is the direction Muslims face during Salah (prayer). It points toward the Masjid al-Haram in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and specifically the Kaaba — the sacred cube-shaped structure at its center. All Muslims worldwide face this same direction in their prayers, creating a symbolic unity of the Ummah.
How is Qibla direction calculated?
The Qibla bearing is calculated using the Great Circle method — the shortest path along the Earth's curved surface between your location and the Kaaba (21.4225°N, 39.8262°E). This gives the most accurate compass bearing for prayer.
Note: For locations directly opposite Makkah on the globe, both directions are equidistant — in such cases, consult a local imam.
